Eric Clapton is truly one of a Kind. Listening to his CD "Unplugged" one can be energized with Music that is so Great that it defies description. The man is such a Genius at whatever kind of Guitar He plays. Though I love absolutely all of Eric Clapton's Guitar Work his bottle neck Guitar moves me greatly. The Genius of Guitar has a Feeling for the Blues that his ability to give Musical Pleasure to his listeners is Greater than Most People Can Imagine

When one Listens to Eric Clapton Play Guitar, they get on a Natural Music High that is so enjoyable that all who love his music want to experience his Great Artistry Often. I can come home after a hard days work and put an Eric Clapton CD on and the Cares of the World Vanish, and I'm in a World of Great Artistic Imagination that rejuvenates me and gives life that spark that we all need to live a happy life in this world. I would say that the same is true for The Millions of Fans who love the Music of this Great Musical Genius.

I will admit that I'm normally into Guitar Instrumental Music much more than Vocals. But Eric Clapton Blends Vocals and Guitar in such a way that it's like A Symphony Orchestra, in some ways. His Vocals and Guitar Work are one when Eric Clapton Sings and Plays his Guitar.

It's just that one never tires of Hearing Eric Clapton Play that Guitar and Sing. And when he takes a long Break on Guitar it is near unbelievable. The Music of Eric Clapton Just never grows stale, it is always fresh, no matter how many times you have heard him play and sing a song. The Creativity of Eric Clapton is to such a high level that those who love him can never get enough of his Great Music.
There can be no doubt that Eric Clapton as the largest following of any Guitarists Alive Today.
Albert Lee Said in a Guitar Player Magazine Interview that Eric Clapton was by far his favorite Guitarist. Albert Lee toured with Eric Clapton as his backup Guitarists. Albert Lee said in the Interview that when Eric Clapton got going he would hit guitar licks that even he didn't know how he did it. This was pure intuition working. Only Those Musicians who get to the point of hitting a guitar lick then looking down and say, "How did I do that," have reached the most artistic level of playing their Guitar. This comes only when great development is reached in music, or any other art form. Eric Clapton probably reached that level when he was very young.

I started playing guitar at 18. When my Father brought home a cheap Sears Guitar, I got my hands on it and could not let go. By age 19, I was playing professionally in combos, three piece bands, and four piece bands. I played full time professional for 8 years, no day job. I played part time professional for 12 more years. For 20 years, I was totally devoted to music.
I played the Country Honky Tonks with some pretty good bands. Lead Guitar and Bass, were my instruments, mostly Lead Guitar. We played Country and Rock. I ran my own trio, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and I sang. Then I did solo gigs, me and a drum machine. Later I did solo finger style Guitar, in fine dinning restaurants.
Though I have recorded my music since I was about 22 years old, and I recorded other bands for money, I started recording myself seriously when I got a computer program that permitted Digital Recordings.
I Recorded in Nashville as a vocalists, but never made it big, so I decided to do what I do best, which is play Guitar and Dobro. While I was in Nashville, a long time ago, I seen and heard Uncle Josh Graves Play Slide Dobro as backup for Mac Wiseman. I then taught myself to play Square Neck, Slide Dobro. I do love the Resonator Guitar, the Dobro.
I listened to and seen the greatest of Guitar Players in my life time, seeing many of the Greats in person. I learned from all types of guitarists, for I was never confined to one type of music. I listened to Country, BeBop Jazz, Blues, New Age, and Experimental Guitarists, loving them all.
My music has the influences of many Genres, and Guitar players, but I imitate no one. My Guitar Playing is my Guitar Playing. I hope you enjoy my Recordings.
I'm also a Writer, as well as a Musician. I wrote radio advertising and public relations as a professional. I also write essays, poetry, and short stories.
