Music and the Guitar have been my life for many years. I was lucky enough to have have Played Guitar, Full Time, for over eight years. For many years after my full time music, I played in Week End Bands and worked a day job. Then the Internet came along, and opened a whole new world for my Guitar Playing and Song Writing.
It has been a thrill for me to have people from all over the world listen to my Music on the Internet. People from all over Europe, as well as the United States and Canada, have listened to my Music, and have purchased my Cds. I never dreamed that could happen to this Country Boy. Having people on the Internet listen to and download my songs, plus purchase Cds, is something I had no idea would happen. The power of the Internet is wonderful.
So you can know a little about me, I play both Finger Style Guitar and Single String Guitar Picking. The Country Guitar Man also Plays Slide Dobro. For the years as a full time Musician, I played both Lead Guitar and Bass in Country and Rock Bands. In my Music Career I was a Disk Jockey.
My Strongest influences have been Chet Atkins and Doc Watson, the Acoustic Blues Players and Modern Jazz Guitarists. Josh Graves inspired me to play the Dobro. I started playing Guitar at 18, by age 19 I was playing Professionally. I love all kinds of music including Country, Country Rock, Jazz, Classical, New Age Jazz, Blues, Experimental.
I have some Country and Blues Guitar Instrumentals, Slide Dobro Instrumentals. All the parts are played by me. Some recordings have midi drums and synth accompaniment parts.
